Named after one of the most historic streets in downtown NYC, the Varick.01’s upper is crafted from genuine leather, giving it a sophisticated luxurious feel. While the outsole has the look of a classic cup sole design, its interior is actually entirely filled with Phylon—addressing the common drawback of discomfort associated with traditional cup soles. This innovative construction significantly enhances comfort.
The insole is also double-layered, providing a plush, soft underfoot feel that elevates the overall wear experience. The upper features a distinctive Pigeon-inspired motif, with a perforated Pigeon head silhouette on the lateral and medial, and Pigeon footprint detailing on the toe box. The outsole showcases intricate design elements, including sculpted Pigeon footprints and wing-like patterns, adding a functional and unique element to the shoe. The Varick.01 also features a classic STAPLE script logo embroidered on the heel with an embossed Pigeon on the midsole and an extra padded tongue to finish off this timeless classic.
