This past Saturday, Staple Pigeon flew the coop to attend V103’s 2016 Car and Bike Show. People packed the World Congress Convention Center in Downtown Atlanta to admire cars and bikes, watch live performances of some of today’s top Hip-Hop artists, win free swag, or purchase souvenirs. From candy painted donks, (those are 70’s cruisers outfitted with oversized rims) to customized sport bikes, there were plenty of one of a kind vehicles with incredible details. When engines weren’t roaring, the main stage played host to a variety of rappers. Whether you’re a fan of T.I.’s flow, missed the auto tuned sounds of T- Pain, or rock with the Madeintyo’s of the rap game, you were in for a treat. The crowd shouted out lyrics and waved their hands in the air in unison, transfixed by the lyrical ability, smooth dance moves, and infectious energy.
Of all of the various booths hosting contests, live interviews, or giving out complimentary massages and treats, Staple Stockist DTLR was the best. Friend of the coop, DJ Flow was on the scene, recording an episode of The Flow Show. Live models stood as stiff as mannequins only moving to occasionally startle anyone who, curious as to why they looked so lifelike, poked them. By spinning the DTLR prize wheel, or taking photos in front of the Staple Pigeon backdrop or DTLR selfie station, contestants had a chance to win clothing and footwear from some dope brands. Take a look at some of the photos below. Whether you’re into car culture, fashion, or hip-hop, the V103 Car and Bike Show, has something for you.
The calm before the storm.
DJ Flow of The Flow Show stopped by the Staple Pigeon tent. He conducted some dope interviews for DTLR Radio during the show.
Staple Spotting: We saw a lot of ATLiens rocking Staple at the convention. We met this particular friend of the flock whilst rushing to the mainstage to watch T.I. spit.
A lucky winner with his prize and the vibrant prize wheel master of ceremonies.
