The 2014 FIFA World Cup has finally arrived, and we at Staple have prepared for the tournament with a World Cup inspired capsule collection that includes tees, shorts, a hat, and four unique jerseys, each one brighter and bolder than the last. The jerseys were designed with the intent of combining the NY and Brazilian cultures while emphasizing the fun and festive nature of the tournament. Each jersey embodies the vibrant culture of the Brazilian people through the use of bright colors and bold graphics, combining current trends and active fabrics to provide an overall casual soccer aesthetic.  The Staple Pigeon even received a Brazilian treatment on all of the pieces, drawing inspiration from Brazilian street art, mosaics, national icons, and local favelas. We made sure to make this capsule collection a fun, colorful, and festive reminder of the World Cup’s vibrant and positive history.  Check out the photos below by Cole Evelev.
