New York City is heating up and that only means one thing, summer is under way. Staple has prepared for the warm weather with another classic collection, drawing inspiration from athletics and nautical culture, with influence from the laid-back island lifestyle. Paradise Lost is full of playful patterns, distinct color combinations, bold graphics and mixed fabrications that take the classic sport aesthetic to new heights, and will be available starting April 30th, 2014 at select stockists worldwide. "Why is everyone so down in the dumps? If you look at the fashion landscape these days (particularly in streetwear), everyone is black…dark…and bleak. People! Summer is here!—And this past winter in NYC was especially BRUTAL. I personally made sure that our Spring Summer 2014 was as vibrant and full of life as humanely possible. “Paradise Lost” represents this return to color, sun and good times. In addition, I called upon one of my favorite designers of the past decade, Steven Harrington from Los Angeles to help out.
