WHO IS DAVE WHITE? The Staple Spring 2014 Collection ushers in a new collaboration with Dave White, a contemporary British Artist who dedicates his work to celebrating popular culture and interpreting emotive issues. While White pioneered the Sneaker Art movement in 2002, one of his most successful series was 'Natural Selection,' a solo exhibition inspired by endangered species. The Staple collaboration was obvious in working with a take on the pigeon, but outside of just an iconic tee, it reached further when White included his stylized brush strokes, which became another praised pattern within the collection. In this latest episode of the "1-2-1 w/jeffstaple" series, jeff invites Dave White in from the UK to the Staple New York City showroom to go over samples, talk creative process and catch up.
